Some of the front wheel drive cars I have driven in the past that would take on an HSV and win.

    Pug 205 Gti 1.9
VW Golf Gti R. ( which the qld police have an unmarked one which runs on the motorway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast )
    Ford Escort Cosworth.

    Plus there are many others.

Yeah driving a front wheel car is different to a rear wheel drive car. And you need to change your driving style to suit.

Manly get under steer in front wheel cars and over steer in rear wheel cars.

    And as the say.

The difference between under steer and over steer is
Under steer you see the tree that is going to hit
Over steer you don't see the tree your going to hit

But getting more and more front wheel drive cars on the market. Would say they are by far the majority of cars on the road.

Well, I thought it was interesting; not really anything we didn't know from experience or logic, but to be able to table it down to calculate it is interesting. Though, air resistance is not in the equations. ..
