    Grease Nipple Help Needed

    '95 Defender 130 300tdi.

    Have broken the head off one of the rear propshaft (uni joint) grease nipples. Cannot find the size listed anywhere. Supercheap (Mudgee) have 1/8 inch and 6mm grease nipples. Can anyone please advise me the size I require and if the Supercheap will fit or do I need to mail order a Land Rover specific grease nipple.

    Grease nipples come in a multitude of hex. sizes, lengths, and threads. Pull out one of the others and measure the diameter and gauge the thread.

    A good bearing shop will have a range of these (more than Supercheep will)

    1/4". Just got back from Mudgee Bearings with a new nipple. $1.50! Outrageous.
