    200tdi lift-pump

    I am connecting all the bits for my 200tdi into a S3 conversion; however; I am not sure which one of the two pipes on the top of the lift-pump is the inlet.

    One is a steel pipe with unions and the other is steel with push-on plastic pipe.

    Can someone let me know which is which please?

    Stop looking!

    Had a der moment, but found the answer on the top of the pump when I wiped the poo off

    save yourself further moments...

    remove it and blank it on the block and fit a facet pump that comes on with the IP solenoid.
