SupporterAs I am considering up-grading the converter in the old Disco. Has anybody had dealings with a mob called Torque Converter Tech. residing in Victoria.
They do torque converters similar to Ashcroft's in the U.K.? I also believe that they supply one of the transmission companies in Vic. and NSW with up graded TCs

SubscriberI got a heavy duty low stall TC fitted by Fluid Drive here in Victoria.
I'm fairly sure they make their own but it may have been sourced.
You would have to give them a call.

A mate of mine had one modified by this mob for his gm gen 3 to zf rangie , Handled every bit of abuse he did with the car and some with no worrys at all .

I have my old TC sitting in the garage no problems with it, if you are to modify one you are welcome to have this one so you can keep mobile. I am back in Perth next Wednesday. I believe that Rover-tech in Bentley do a modification as well.
