Probably wind the wick up as much as you want, just don't expect the motor to last long as boost will only be a factor for failure not the reason.
just wondering what sort of boost you can run in the stock 3.9, with just extra fuel dropped in, no after market timing ecu's

I was visiting my local LandRover spares shop in Adelaide recently, and he had a new hand made sports car on the floor that he imported from UK.
Under the bonnet was a Rover 3.9 with twin turbo's and the exhaust pipes ran out infront of the motor before going under the engine and out the back. Rather novel engineering I thought, but looked spectacular !
Cant remeber the name of the car though. Sorry...
was it triumph rover spares, i'm in adelaide too
I think it was Triumph and Rover Spares
But it does not say that on their Business Card
Anyway it was at 7 Magna Court Lonsdale Ph 8384 6933
Goodluck !
That sports car is a TVROriginally posted by merlin

All TVRs use naturally aspirated engines. They've goved away from the Rover V8 to their own engines, V12, V8 and straight 6. Lovely cars, a true enthusiasts machine.
Currently I am trying to bring over either a TVR S V8 or Chim to import to use in Sydney.Originally posted by PeterM

Mmmmmmm, droooooool. They used to be for sale in Australia and I know of a prestige car hire place in Richmond, Vic that hire out Chimeras. I remember seeing a Speed 12 that was brought out for a motorshow in Brisbane in '98. What a beast of a machine!
