    D2 V8 running rough

Ok, not sure if I have detailled this here before, but the old man's D2 V8 auto is running, well terribly! Esecially at low revs untill it gets up and going.

MAF sensor has been cleaned out and that helped for a while, but then it went back to being horrible.

Are leads and plugs often an issue on the D2's ??

Any other things it could be?

My suggestion with a rough running V8 would be to start with your plugs and leads to see if there os a breakdown somewhere, but might also pay to checkģ the O2 sensors as well... if you have access to a diagnostic tool that will help immensly.

Ok, some more information after driving the car in question.

It is not so muc hrunning rough, but surgin and jerking. This is most noticable while holding the pedal steady while driving at about 60 up a gentle slope.

Kick down a gear and it revs up and runs fine, main issue seems to be under load at low revs.

I did think it may be a faulty MAF< but I unplugged it and ran for a bit and it made little to no difference, or does that confirm a failled MAF ?
