Key Problems
Hi to all,
I have a 2000 Discovery II Td5 and both my keys have disintegrated, thus not allowing me to dis-immobilize my vehicle.
Can any one suggests how I can get my problems solved? I know that one way is to go back to the LR agent to get a key replacement (which will cost an arm and a leg). I am looking for the most cost effective way to solve my problem and any suggestions will be most welcomed.
Thank you
Eric

If it is the buttons that have disintergrated I suggest you look up "Polmex" on the net. They supply replacement fob buttons in an insert.
A little fiddly at first but not a big deal if you follow their instructions which they supply.
Around $19 from memory and very fast delivery.
I have done 2 without any issues.

If its the micro switches some of the Ebay kits include new micro switches.
I had mine soldered by a TV repair shop
