Maybe the rear springs havnt been seated in just right.
I may be wrong but this may cause your Bang.
Just got an OME suspension upgrade . They claimed it wouldn't lift the car but ended up lifting it substantially. (No probs, i like it that way, it just means i have to change insurance companies.)
It has heavy duty springs on the rear (N46 Springs and 755 shocks, if that means anything) and since i've had it back it makes a loud bang when you traverse any terrain with a sudden drop (even a speed hump). I haven't lost any articulation so i'm thinking it's not the fault of the heavy duty springs but i'm not sure.
So, i'm just wondering if it is a result of the suspension topping out due to a lack of weight in the back or if there is another cause.
Any help would be great.

There are two types of people in this world, good and bad. The good sleep better, but the bad seem to enjoy the waking hours
I got the same problem when I fitted parabolics to my SIII. In may case the front tail shaft, which I'd bought 2nd hand was a little longer than original (obviously modified to suit a different engine in the previous vehicle). The extra suspension travel as the diff came up (when both wheels hit a bump or ditch together) caused the spline in the tail shaft to bottom out and then transmit the rest of the force onto the transfer case :!: :!: 8O OUCH!!!.
Check to see that any extra suspension travel you may have is not beyond the compression of the tail shaft.
One way to check for this is :
1 - lock the centre diff
2 - remove the front tail shaft
3 - drive over the bump.
If the BANG is gone, then the front tail shaft is the culprit.
I hope this helps.
I think you have that the wrong way around . They are 755 Springs and N46 shocksOriginally posted by Ty

.
I have 784 's on the back of my 90 and they are great . with N44 shocks (i think)
Also have bent rear radious arms and 2" lower shock mounts and spring relocation cones
Mine make a really load bang when they relocate into the spring hanger after they have been on full articulation and have dropped out
Ali
Is the noise in the front or rear???
If rear (which i think you mean)
Most likely ball joint / and or bushes in the rear links
Good luck...

If it's not the front tail shaft, remove one component at a time until the noise dissappears.
ie: replace the tail shaft and remove ® shocker, then (L) etc
On my Landy the noise seemed to come from the back. I then fitted konis on the back and the noise came only from the front. The impact from the front tail shaft reverberated along the transmission line and it was hard to tell from which end of the vehicle the BANG came.
A couple of hours and a methodical process of elimination should solve the dilemma if it's not something too obvious, like wrong springs / shocks...
