    Push button

Ok here is what I am sure will be the first of many questions untill I get used to the defender.

Between the centre cubby box and passenger seat is a small black rubber button with says push.

Now naturally I did PUSH it and heard a click, like a solinoid switching or something.

But I cant see anything happening, nor is there a differance with anything.

It looks factory but the manual is no help so I thought I would ask for your ideas.

I am not going to PUSH it again untill I know what it is, just incase. :?

Thought about the light in Cubby thing, and even looked but no light.

Old spotty stich is on the dash

Come the weekend I will trace the wires and see if they go anywhere.

    Might be anything
    Will let you know

    My thoughts exactly.
Scared to push it now till I know.

But it made a clunk like a relay or something clicking in, hard to describe.
    Will check soon
