    Hi there. Seen this a lot. Change your oil more regularly and lock the CDL every time you leave the black top... This includes dirt roads, beaches, grass fields etc. The LT 230 center diff is very small and does not like to be spun at high speeds. Good luck with the rebuild.

    Thanks to this sort of advice on this site, that's what I've been doing on dirt roads and it really seems like the way to go.
    At any given point in time, somewhere in the world someone is working on a Land-Rover.
