you could always get the one that just plug's in and out D-tronic one i think, then all you need to do is take it out when u take it to land rover for a warranty claim !!

In terms of the warranty issue, I understand that one of the Land Rover dealers on the North Shore were offering it as an option at point of sale.

Bruce Davis' people wiped the memory of the ECU so that apparently you can not tell the ECU has been remapped.

Regards.

I've got a remapped ECU in my auto Disco TD5 (2003), I think it was done by John Davis? the only way Landrover will know it is there is by the power.
It made a huge difference, she can drag a lot of others off from the lights and the extra power for overtaking is very nice.
The only problem may be if anything happens to the electrics and a new ECU is put in under warranty- I blow $600
Economy is still the same around 9 - 10 K's /litre.

Ritter Automotive does the ECU upgrades in Melbourne.

Considering it for mine.

130kw wouldn't go amiss :-)

Any effect on fuel consumption?

Any more bottom-end torque?

Hi Line
I've got a mate with a 130 that needs to replace his ECU due to unforeseen circumstances
He's been quoted some absolutely stupid prices, so he would be thrilled to get an after market one for under a thousand.
The number would be greatly appreciated.
