    Overboost

    Hi All,
    I am continuing to get an overboost fault on my D2 td5. I have a VNT kit Including a boost box from BAS installed and re-tune by TD5 inside.

    I have run with the MAF unplugged and still get the fault showing . Just looking for suggestions for possible solutions. Any ideas? Thanks.

    Hello,
    You will find that some of the BAS boxes do not work I fought with mine for a year, get one from TD5Inside.

    You can check if they are working using a Nanocom.

    Take readings under acceleration, then disconnect the earth wire and repeat.

    If the boost values are the same - it's not working.

    Thanks for the advice , i had a feeling the damn boost box wasn't working . I will test it as suggested and share the results . Cheers.

    Ok, I did the test suggested by tombie and the boost box is clearly not working!
    I wonder if BAS will give me a refund as it has never worked ....
