3 inch lifted springs
Just wondering if anyone knows the size of shock needed to suit 3 inch lifted king springs. I saw them on ebay and got me thinking. I'v got a set of new 80 series toyota shocks I got for spares for an unfortunate desert trip a while back and just wondering if anyone knew if they'd suit these 3 inch lifted springs.
Cheers
Alex

Has anyone got TJM or OME shocks? I'm undecided as to what kind of shocks to put in my 90. I havn't been able to get any feed back from anyone that actualy has them and not the sales person.
Anything would be great
Cheers Larns

Hi Larns,
I've got OME Nitrochargers on my old landy and have been very happy with them since fitting 2 years ago. Did a major trip last December, to Uluru - Alice via the Meerenie loop, down Finke trail, Oodnadatta and Flinders ... 8000km in total. The landy was absolutely stacked to the rafters (see below ... had to carry water/fuel for a mate!) but we had no issues with them .. they performed great.

I have OME's on my 90 (winch challenge truck)
I run 764 all round with n44 shocks on the back and can't remeber which ones on the front. Main reason is i have an ARB on the front with a Warn 8274 and a Superwinch Husky in the back. Also run 35" Simex extreme trekers. In the UK they are considered the best springs around. There are others but they can't handle the pace.
I have had my OME's on for about 18 months and given them so real stick and they are fine
Here is a pic as a hard top

It is now a ute
