    Defender wheel arch flares

Hi all, silly question time (again), can i fit Defender wheel arch flares to a series 3?, and does anyone know roughly how much i will have to part with if they do?

    Cheers

my brothers SWB S3 has some flares made out of what appears to be plate aluminium. they are bent into the shape of the wheel arch and attached at the back, might even be glued on. I'll have a look tonight, but i'm not sure if flares have to be flexible or not (legally)

Cousin John has some Disco 2 flares which he intends to put on his County.

I'll check this out with him. They seemed to match the curves.

Friend of mine went the option of wanting side protection for his series.

Already had the bullbar so just made up scrub bars that then further along the side became the side steps then rear flares and bolt on about where the grab handle is on the back. The flares (bit between the body and bar) is just conveyor belting screwed in place.

Looks very Mad Max but seems to work well enough.

Probably should do something about my wheels hanging out on the back (scrub bars on the front so they're legit) but no one says anything so I don't mention it.

Last look the Defender flares were $400 S/H.....probably changed since then.
