I don't see the problem, I'm afraid. The overall gear ratio, in each case, is given by :-
Gearbox ratio X Transfer Case ratio X Diff ratio.
A couple of the Jeep calculated overall ratios appear to be in error, or rather rounded, so it does not work out exactly.
Interesting specification for comparison with the 80" - dimensions were almost identical, but the Landrover was around 150lbs heavier - but with this you got another 200lbs payload, three seats across the front, 12v electrics, and a four speed box. Engine power and torque were virtually the same, although the Willys engine was smaller.
