    Gearbox conversion

    Hi all,
    I am going to buy a 93 200tdi manual discovery on the weekend, i currently have a 97 300tdi automatic. Will the manual gearbox from the 200 fit straight into my 300?

    I'm pretty confident it won't.
    AFAIK the 200 and 300tdi's have different bellhousing bolt patterns.

    It won't go straight in, plus the last thing you want (apart from the auto) is one of those horrid LT77 gearboxes.

    Find an R380 and all associated bits.
