Cousin John has a 110 County.
He travels with 33" wheel tyre diameter at the moment.
He wants to know if any one has gone to 35".
(BTW 2" spring lift and 2" body lift are planned at the same time)
We wont talk about the 6.3l GMC V8 diesel as well.
Any views/experience?

If the tyres are not rubbing on the car you need to fit larger.
Go the 35's.
Michael.
What axles/diffs/CV's is he running now and what does he expect to replace them with when they break????
i am running 35" simex exteme trekers on my 90. Have 2" lift (OME springs)
They do take alot out of the tdi to get them to turn at speed. Will at a push get them to go along the motorway at about 90 mph (145 Kph)
But does start to over heat abit at this speed. Will curse all day at 75 (120 kph) though
But this is fine for speed , but towing goes out of the window and the low box gears get thrown all over the place and you find the low box 1st is too high.
This is why i run 4.75 ring and pinions instead of 3.5's

Has been done but not worth the effort!
Just 2 inch springs, and trim the flares or they will crack.
Make sure to add Maxi / Jac Mac to the fitting list if not already done.
Good luck
Dave.
Okay to resurrect an old thread and to prove the search function does work
I'm about to order some 285/85-16's for my fender and some 16x8 rims to suit... but no idea on what offsett i will need.
Any suggestions, ideas, preferably definite answers on what offsett to run that will give maximum turning circle and still allow them to slip up inside the guards? Currently have a 2" lift on her.
Cheers in advance

i have 255/85x16's and they need an extra 15-20mm outward as they cramp the crap out of the turning circle.
in the process of obtaining some more disco rims so i can get them offset.
