    3.9 camshaft replacement d1

    Hi guys ,
Any one know if it's possible to remove and install new cam in a d1 without removing to air con condenser ?
    Thanks.

YES, but you need to be careful, remove grille and radiator and unbolt condenser, gently lift and twist condensor, have an assistant with a rope handy to tie the condensor up to your bonnet so you have a window, although small to work from. I replaced mine this way. Just don't break the gas pipes.

I did mine the same way as Mario. Not too difficult at all, just have to be incredibly careful not to kink the air con pipes, and that you feed the camshaft through square on.
