Heaps of people have done this without issue. I think the best value for money is this. OME have just released a new front 225lb/in 779 spring also which will be perfect.
I've probably read it somewhere but time is getting on and I'll have to be preparing the Disco for the High Country trip.
Has anyone lifted there series 2 Discos around 2", and, if so were there any problems :?: :?: :?:

With respect Slunnie,
A mate of mine took his S2 to a Land Rover expert and the result was just short of laughable. The nose in the air literally and metaphorically (and he has a TJM bar). The claim from the expert was that S2's are not that easy to set up particularly when shocks are involved as well.
After much wailing and gnashing of teeth a solution was found.
The lesson as I'm sure you would agree is to find some one with the experience and time to advise and who is prepared to talk about the options to suit the vehicle and the preferred use. The compromise between ride comfort and performance.
You had a positive experience with Lovell's in this regard, I recollect.

18" chromies, Bling and a 2" lowering
Merely a case of driving to some secluded high country fly fishing spots with a fridge and a tent in the back via Hume Hwy bitumen

Ex 300Tdi Disco:
My old Disco got new springs and shocks wich gave it a two ince lift all round.
Needed a set of spring spacers under rear as well but, just to balance it out.
No problems with it when done and no problems with it right up till I sold it.

Thanks BB, the spring spacers?... between the spring and the upper or lower spring mounts?
I was thinking more of a body lift but maybe a spring lift will be OK.
I'll be towing the camper which is heavy, and carrying 2 jerrycans and spare wheel over the back end.

Spacers where between the lower mount and the springs.
They only put them in because the rear sat lower than the frount after the new springs went in.
I had the rear end loaded with a car trailer and a 110 series wagon, plus all my gear for a weekend away.
And before you ask I was dropping off the series to a mate and camping in the same area.
Back end had very little sag in it and I had no problems with it till the day it it was sold.
