MD locker switch in diff housing - adjustment?

    Hi
As was recommended to me to try and resolve my "locker on" light staying lit I
managed to get the red and green vac lines out of their seats in the actuator housing and gave a squirt of oil down the openings.
No change - MD locker light still on.

I couldn't get a spanner on the connector for the white vac line, so have not been able to drop any oil down the opening for this one yet but I'll have another crack at it.

Assuming though that there is no change - with the diff unlocked, is it ok to undo the locknut on the threaded connector and wind it out(?) until the light in the cab extinguishes? Then lock the diff and check for indicator to be lit. I thought I read somewhere that adjusting the threaded connector could damage the switch?

Not really sure what else to do, unless oil down connection for the white vac line magically fixes it
    TIA
    Mike

The white line is the diff breather. Probably best not to try and block it with oil. You could have a short or conductive deposit between the terminal and housing. Best to pull it apart for a look.

Thanks Ben! I knew I could count on you for Maxi Drive info

So busy looking at the lines, I hadn't even thought about the breather...yes, best not to plug that up.
Looks like it's coming apart then...
    Cheers
