    Brakes

HI all just after information on has any body had issues with the brake pedal going hard and the ABS feels as if it's pumping on and off but but no feel from the pedal? I was recently out bush in my D2 TD5 and going down a small but wet hill. It was the first time I've really taken it out so was just playing and slowly applied the brakes on a small decline of a hill, and the feel from the brake pedal was it went hard and felt like some one was hitting the pedal with a bar from the sound and feel of it? But the brakes work fine normally was just that one incident??? Has anyone every had the same issue or ideas on what it may be... Any help or suggestions to look would be helpful

Sounds like the ABS kicking in.
Have you had the ABS activate before? Did it feel the same?

If it was a loud "tick tick tick tick", sounds like something wrapped around a driveshaft, then it was probably your ABS activating. Traction control makes the same sound.

If you pull the ABS relay/fuse it'll stop working ;-)

Lol thanks, I was thinking of wiring a switch in line with the TC to be able to switch it off.
