    Hi all

I have just put 3 litres of unleaded into my td5 by mistake never done that in 12 years
It is a 2012 model once I realised I then filled it with 80litres of diesel should I worry or just keep topping it up with diesel for a while?

3L will be fine. 30L might have been a problem though!

X2. No worries. even half a tank will dilute it enough.
    Cheers, BDave.

I think you have more of an issue with someone putting a TD5 engine in your 2012 model Defender!

I will go out on a limb and say he means by way of typo 2002.

Agree with above - 3L will cause no problems.

    Mea Culpa

The post was originally in a totally unrelated General Chat thread about the Defender continuing in India so I moved to a thread of its own. I thought the Td5 was long gone by 2012 but it could have been a typo.
