    Exhaust sensors

Can anyone tell me what the extra 2 sensors in my exhaust are for?
The 2 that are downstream of the lamda sensors. It is off a 1993 disco 1 3.9 v8

Yeah no idea what I have got. I was told it was a 93 but the VIN says it's a 90. But with a 3.9 and cats?

I think it may have originated in Japan. The extra sensors were not connected into the efi loom.

Not that bothered as I am fitting the engine into my rrc and won't be using them but am just curious as why they are there

The sensors are connected to a box like this on on each side.
