Dual battery fuse / circuit breaker on aux?
Hi all,
I am putting in a 100A Projecta DBC100K (link below) dual battery system into my D1. I won't be using it for winching and I'm not really running accessories (although I may choose to run a 300w inverter straight off the auxiliary battery occasionally). The reason I'm installing the second battery is to reduce risk on starting in the event of the primary failing. My question is, because I plan to use the auxiliary for cranking and I also have the battery isolator in place, do I need to fuse between the auxiliary battery and the isolator?
Many thanks in advance.
John.
