Thread: [b]Plug Ins??[/b]

Gday All,
I am trying to evaluate the good and evil of the Plug in power boosters offered around for my Series 2 manual Disco.
The sales pitch sounds great with no touching turbo’s ect. and only a computer enhancement with more power and torque but there has to be a trade off or am I too cynical?? :?:

I dont have one, but i have read alot about it, the man to ask is Noddy, he has had his TD5 defender chipped. They are talking about huge power increases when the modds are done. It is well worth it, there is a place in syndey, not sure of the name, who are getting 175KW and over 500Nm of torque out of TD5 Discos and Defenders. There is a lot around so shop around and find one which suits youre budget and meets youre needs. matt
