    Which diff / axle oil to use ?

    What brand / type / rating of oil do people recommend for the axles and swivel pin housings ?

    We use EP 80/90,i guess it the same over on your side of the world

    I use Caltex 80W/90 gear oil in mine. But any 80W90 gear oil will do, Valvoline recommends the same. Caltex also recommended using it in the transfer case aswell, so i run the some oil in both the diffs and transfer case. I dont think it really matters what oil you use, as long as it is a high quality brand, like penrite, castrol, valvoline, caltex etc etc. Just make sure you have the grade right, which, as recommended by land rover is 80W90.
