That'll bruise tomorrow! Ouch.
In my Army days I saw a GM 6V72t in a carrier do that. The advice we got was to 'run away'.

just picked it up this afternoon. On top of the works required and the power steering pump, I asked for the PWS pressure line to be rebuilt/refurbished and a new water pump fitted as a matter of course.
Its to early to tell if everything is 100%, plus the fact I cant see FA after getting something in my eye at work and having to go to hospital twice in 3 days to try and sort it.
Ill try and get back with an up date, if not, see you all in another 12 months for my annual rebuild.
Time for an update I guess, and being its that 10 month hoo doo I can not break... :(
Turbo has broken a vain on the exhaust turbine. In short thats a new turbo.
While I had that removed, I notice a leak down the front left corner of the engine block. Had it over to the mechanics while its off the road due to turbo. Looks like P gasket and I bloody hope that is all!!!!!!
lost all humour with this thing.
Oh Serg :(. I've had my share of issues in the past 6 months (radiator, head gasket, P-gasket, A/C, etc) but you are getting waaay more than your fair share. If I was closer and had more time I'd give you a hand. I'm getting quite proficient at that P-Gasket thing. Hang in there. You WILL have a bulletproof car soon.
James.
time for an LS Serg :)
**** me!
Stuck on side of New England hwy, half way between Warwick and Stanthorpe because #2 injector decided to leave the head. Keeper plate gone, hold down bolt snapped. Spill return line broken. Oil breather cyclone thing split in 2 from injector hard line hitting it.....
