Whats even scary er is I did an oil change yesterday morning! I know I didn't stuff that up again for sure.
Towed to the property im working on. RACQ asseser to come and see if it meets the requirements of being towed back to home by them. Ill speak to my mechanic in the morning.
Could it be as simple as bolt fatigue from the origial event and it has just let go? Or are the insides going to be fubar?
On a better note the R380 I rebuilt has been in for 1200km and not missed a beat. A little drama with fitting but thats another story. I dropped the vmx80 that I ran it in with and refilled with syntrans yesterday morning when I did engine oil.

So, what news? Did something punch the injector out or did the bolt just fatigue and pressure punched it out?
I actually do a lot of my own work Beny, all oil changes, gearbox rebuild, steering box install, brake caliper rebuilds, axle overhauls etc. But time is tight and I have to keep this job moving. As you well know, its my only car so dont have the luxury of working on it when I can. I dont have any tools here and no lighting. Plus the fact its below zero when I start work and work till dark....
