TD5 Fuel Filter Service
How often are fuel filters being changed on the TD5's.
My father just took his Defender in for it's 20k service and was told they have now extended the replacement interval from 20k-40k on this item.
Sounds a bit long to me.

they should still be changed yearly (20000kms)
dont worry what they tell you...you know yourself how good our fuel is in oz.
and if your getting fuel in dodgy fuel stations or outback servos you will need to change them more frequently.

Ahh DZ I knew you would come through. I thought too PM you 1st but decided to put it on the open forum in case anyone else had been told the same thing.
He and I both felt the same. And will be insisting on the 20k change rather than 40k. Preventative maintenance is much cheaper than a rebuild.
Cheers Tyrepower.
