Disco or 1990 on Range Rover vented disc on early classic
Has anyone changed their solid front brake discs on an early classic Range Rover to the vented discs of a 1990 on Range Rover or a Discovery.
The only difference I can see apart from the obvious thickness is the diameter of the centre hole which is 101.6 instead of 101.0.
Will I get away with just change to some later thicker calipers and new rotors?
I am up for new rotors so I thought this was worth a look while I was there.
Anyone done this before?
Cheers.

Yep I have done this.
All parts bolt on easy as.
Calipers need spacer or use calipers from 90 RR.

I have also done this to my 83 Rangie.
I had pawned all the bits off late Aquarangie and did the copnversion for nothing. Discs are a bit warped though, but still have plenty of meat on them 8)
Improves the brakes out odf sight. Well worth doing.
