There are some pics here:

I currently have it mounted onto the vehicle, but just getting a bracket made up today so that you don't pull the door skin off when opening and closing the door.

Will be finished tomorrow and I will put some more pics up then.

Regards

Cool.
look forward to see how it bolts to the door.

Does it come with a template so you know where to bolt it in the body, chassis bolts should be straight forward.

Not a bad jigga...

Tend to agree with you sclarke, it's just plain stupid to **** off your customers, they said they were out of stock, and wouldn't be getting more...when I phoned Scorpion (Pommieland) direct, they had a container leaving for WA in two days time & couldn't understand why they hadn't ordered the part!!.
Strange way to do business!!, I offered to pay (visa) upfront too!!, weird......

Spare wheel carrier

This bearmach carrier, is it just a bolt straight on item, or do you have to start hacking into the love of your life? And has anyone investigated sparewheel mounting on late model Defenders on the bonnet? Saw it done on a 130 the other day but they took off before I had time to chat.

If a company ****es you off, then i'll never go back.

the old saying goes..
Make a person happy he tells 3 others.
Upset him, he tells the world.

Easy to get a bad rap very quickly if you dont look after everyone.

All finished!! Yeah

Pretty happy with the finished product. Bit of fiddling around with making up the 'H' brace for the MY02 door. Ended up taking off the central locking mechanism while I bolted the carrier through the door. There ain't much space in these doors with locking, wipers...

It is a very clever design and there is not much margin for error when drilling all your holes, but worked out well.

Also fixed my central locking problem while I was at it.

Put all the pics in the gallery.

There is also the dimensions of the H brace for anyone else wanting to make one up, but I understand from Karcraft that Bearmach are currently working on a modified kit for the MY02 onwards.

All up, including carrier, steel, additional nuts & bolts and paint was less than $500.
