G'day folks, am quite new to Land Rover, but learning fairly quickly.
I wish to build a set of rear drawers in my 5 seater with cargo barrier, but nobody seems to gives sizes, eg length x width x height of boxes, etc. Am I missing something?
I am quite good with my hands as wish to build a marine ply type, to travel Australia wide, and place my drop slide fridge on one side. Can some one supply some plans just as a guide please? Sizes is my main grief, plus sources for carpets and roller slides is another help.
Thanks guys, am learning quite a bit so far from other posts too, keep it up.
PM me an email address and I'll forward a number of D2 rear drawers photos copied over the years from this site (doc is too big to post here). Whilst they won't give you all the measurements, will give you some interesting options. Cheers Gavin

I ended up making mine, myself, as you are.
The slides I found on eBay for a good price delivered, but can't remember how much now. The Marine carpet is from Bunnings.
Be sure to make it lower than the inside door handle on the rear door, so it can be opened from the inside, if the door locking mechanism stops working due dust.
I also have a cargo barrier, but carry a length of pole on rear passenger floor with a hook on it, to grab the internal handle for when the external handle does not work. Unfortunately have had to use it a few times.
Sorry, I don't have any pics of my drawers on computer.

 Thanks guys
Yep, it seems that shall need to build and purchase parts online.
It is difficult as nobody does step by step and displays here, as a guide, but I shall as I build.
