How high to you want to lift your truck?

What do you want to achieve?

Run military length shackles front and rear and scallop the crossmember under the front shaft as it will hit.

You can run 36inch tyres with only shackles and guard chop with some bump stop modifacation, so why the need to lift?

Dave.
I find that I still bottom out on some of the rougher stuff I drive around here. Killed 2 standard tanks so far, put a Datsun 200b tank in the back mounted in a cradle and covered in checkerplate for protection. Fitted perfectly and great when in ute form, but have to go back to wagon to ease the ' its just a toy! ' arguments and be able to carry the family around! So would like to lift it a bit more plus it looks good!!!! what about springs from another vehicle? Already have army shackles and shocks in the rear! TY[/b][/quote]

Im building my own tanks out of standard LR 60 lt tanks.

Cut the bottoms off them and run 3mm steel on an angle just jgher than the crossmember profile. I also have rock sliders that are 50mm x 50mm by 4mm wall protecting the tanks.

I hope i wont kill them. 3mm is pretty beefy.
