    SII Disco, Running UHF Cable

    Can anyone tell me where I might find an opening to run my UHF aerial cable through the fire wall of my SII Disco. I know it can be done.... but I think I must be blind!

    i think you should be able to push it through where the air con plumbing goes through.
    between the two pipes.....then just mould the black sealant around it as well.

    If it's a Td5 auto then just below the brake master cyclinder there is an unused grommet. Pull the carpet and sound proofing back and you will see it. You'll need to punch a hole through the sound proofing on the engine side of the firewall with a screwdriver or something similar.

    I don't know if the grommet is used in other engine/transmission configurations.
