cousin johns county is already in bits, that is dash is already out, and can easily be photographed or the wiring colours seen.
but i dont think it will happen tonight
I'm missing something here. The wiring diagram has nothing about the rear wipers or washer. My manual has nothing about the body at all so I don't know what I'm supposed to have missed.Originally posted by one_iota
I suspect that while Ron can spell check and you know a great deal that neither of you can read.
READ above.

I've read above and I saw your more recent post about having a County which you can photograph.
Please explain what I can't read.

It's not Easter yet. I could look tomorrow if I can work out how to remove the dash (which I want to do - just for a look).Originally posted by one_iota

Ron,
Don't worry about removing the dash. I have just done it and it was one of the worst jobs I have done- htere is always another screw hiding that needs undoing and it is about the last thing that gets removed- need to remove sides and top of dash, instrument cluster etc before you can even think about taking off the vertical facsia. I'm just glad I am not putting mine back in but making a custom front for it. Cheers,
Pullsy
I've just been sorting out the problems with my rear wiper on the County (seized motor - now fixed).
The workshop manual doesn't show the wiring diagram but by judicious use of a multimeter and some knowledge of how they work, I've nutted out the diagram.
Then I had a bright idea, check the Defender workshop manual.
Would you believe the wiring diagram is identical for the wiper/washer.
So Pullsy, if you haven't got yours sorted yet, let me know and I'll give you a step by step guide to working out where the wires go on the switch.
