    Airbox vacuum line

    Anybody know if the vacuum line on the side of the airbox does anything besides run the actuators for the EGR.
    I want to block it off altogether but just want to be sure it doesn't do anything else.

    And it is a TD5 02 Defender.

    Doesn't do anything else, I have blocked mine off when I removed my egr valve

    Hook it to a small catch can and run your transmission breathers into it
    This will help with leaks in the gearbox
