    Which Flywheel?

:?: Has anyone used or know of an adaptor plate/kit that uses the original Land Rover (6 or 4 cyl) flywheel with a Holden conversion....the difference in weight is about 5 kgs.
I had a vehicle here with a crude home made adaptor kit that used the Landy flywheel...it drove beautifully, pulled away at idle like a train.
However the setup was way too crude for me to use...odd starter motor etc.
Would appreciate some information if anyone can help.
    Cheers and thanks,
    Mick.

    Hi Mick
I assume you mean the Landy flywheel is heavier??
I dont think the holden motor(if stock) will cope with it a low revs in tough off-road setuations, they arent the tourquiest motors low down.
Once you are cruising I dont think there wouldnt be a problem.
