I was told by Brian at LVS it quiet cheap to gal a chassis - about $300.

Don't know if this included the acid dip first?

I have read somewhere that galvanising anything is charged by the weight of object. I recon that the RR chassis has got to be less than 200kg as 2 people can lift and carry it - ask me how I know!!!

It doesnt sound like that includes the acid dip, from memory they said the A 4x4 Is Born job all up cost about 600 quid. Matt

    I'd heard 40c a kilo.

Making sure that there are no air pockets is a bit of an art.

But finding someone who can do it without distorting the chassis would be important.

    Mate,

After 2 days work my 18 year old chassis now looks better than when it rolled off the production line at Solihul.

You don't need to gal it - just look after it!!!
