    Diary of TDI Conversion - Day 13 Clean engine bay of RR

    G'day Guys,

    I thought I'd take this opportunity to clean out the engine bay of 18 years of grime and dirt.

    No photos, but the engine bay came out well with elbow grease and "Solvol"? - I would have called it panel wipe, but its what my panel beater uses to clean down the panels of grease / wax before they can spray.

    I also managed to put a couple of layers of Sound Deadner - thick rubberised paint on the firewall and along the gearbox tunnel.

    The body will be lowered onto the chassis in the morning, also installing a Graeme Cooper 1" lift kit - all genuine new rubbers / 1" alloy spacer / new longer bolts.

    Will get some photos tomorrow.

    4X4 is born dvd

    Where can the 4X4 is born dvd be obtained from. Have watched part of it on Foxtel but they keep changing viewing times etc or I am at work.
