You missed my point, using the right leg for throttle was fine (if you have enough movement) with no pain, using the brake was the problem. This is fine if you have an auto just left foot brake, in a manual it is a problem.

Actually I seem to remember that my ankle movement wasn't enough so I was moving my whole leg to operate the throttle. Seemed strange at first but it didn't take long to adapt.

Yeah but i have 3 fractures on top of 2 previous so dont want to risk it.
