Thread: Elect issues/ no power steering after the gearbox drama

Ok so did the whole gearbox in out thing..a few times..


now I don't seem to have power/elect to the left hand side of bottom row of fuses..the main fuses test ok, some of the blades in the batt box fuse box seem ok...


I did find one black wire with a red joiner, it was attached to the aircon hose, so im thinking it was that (no aircon unit in it) did seem a tad long but.


I didn't think there were any more fuses, but I seem to remember a fusible link on the series 3 in the batt box?


im sure I connected all the power to gearbox ect so what could it be?

oh yeah..its has got power steering fluid in it...

umm feel like even more of a tool...I used a bit of lithium grease on the fornt fan bearing trying to get it to stop squealing...I think a bit of it got on the belt and is making it slip??


I did some research n cleaned it best I could and gee, its working better already...elect thing still has me puzzled, I thought all the fuses got power, but could they only get power when the device is on?
