    td5 10P/16P engine swap

    D2 td5 engine swap

    I'm replacing my original D2 2000MY 10P engine with a short form 16P off a 2002MY D2.

    I have all ancillaries still on my 10P.
    The 16P is only the bare block/sump/head.

    I understand that the only issue may possibly be the fuel regulator.

    Am I able to fit the 10P regulator to the 16P head?

    Any advice appreciated.

    IIRC the timing chain tensioner / front assembly is different.

    NO, as the 15/16P has the return in the head, different regulators
