    Converting 110 wagon to softop?

Presumably I can use a Series rear tub, hoops and canvas, the main issue I see is attaching the canvas to the 110 windscreen frame. Any other issues? - fuel tank location might be an issue with a series tub?

Do I need to change the 110 windscreen frame to a softop type and can they be procurred?
or, am I better off using a Series 3 windscreen frame (prefer not to as the 110 w'screen has better visibility)

(Thanks Crossy for the reply to the previous post - I think this new subject is more relevant to what I'm trying to achieve.....)

I would have thought if you went to a canvas place they would be able to make one up and devise a way to fix it to the screen you have. I wasnt aware they were different in many ways. Matt

Converting 110 wagon to Soft Top

If you were to use the "rope-rail" off a series w/screen top and you would need the door frames and front canopy bow at least then you would be well on the way, my shopping list would be, Series 2/3, complete hood frame set including the series w/screen "rope-rail" these may be available at your local 4x4 wreckers or from 4wheel drives in Melbourne

you'll find it diffcult to find the D110 windscreen strip in AU, as most were military vehciles still in service.

I managed to get one while in the UK, however these suppliers are very good http://www.allwheeltrim.co.uk/Frames.htm#90
