I just use a small flat screw driver to push the ends of the wire clip sideways just enough to lift the plug one side at a time.
Is there an easy way to disconnect the Multi-plug from each fuel injector on a 3.5 V8?
There is a retaining wire built into the plug which stops you pulling the plug straight off.
There must be a way of dislodging the retaining wire but all my attempts to date involve trying to hook the retaining wire out which is fiddly and time consuming.
Any tips?

use the edge of a small screwdriver to push the clip in towards the plug then with a pair of 45 degree bent nose pliers lit the plug off of the injector. and wiggle the clip. if they havent been butchered or mixed up the plug will wiggle off
