Whether or not it is recomended i do not know. But I gave mine the extra 20degrees to cope with extra boost.
So no its not going to solve the oil weeping we are experiencing.

Has anyone seen or have a TSB for when the MLS head gasket was introduced as the replacement gasket, and is there a revised (higher ?) bolt tension, eg. an extra 5 or 10*?

Mines going to get a coat of hylomar or some copper spray
Mines not going to be perfect as I have no intention to get the head milled again but will take a few pics as I go and see what happens. Hardest part is its here at work and I'm doing it between other jobs like this karmen gia that's just rocked up
MLS (laminated ) head gaskets should not be used with Hylomar or any other sealant, clean dry surfaces and factory torque tolerances.
Victor Rienz MLS head gaskets are used on everything from race cars to heavy duty trucks.
I used one on my Disco 300 tdi, which had a warped head (7 thou) between cylinders 2 & 3 after blowing 3 composite Elring composite head gaskets, it lasted nearly 3 years and was only replaced (still in perfect condition) when I purchased a new head.
I can tell you this, if you use any sealant with a laminated gasket it will fail and if you over torque it will also fail, Regards Frank.
Cleanliness was not the issue, i am confident of that.
Thanks for the heads up re over torque, that could become a costly oversight. Too late now, see how it goes in time i guess.

Head is off to be surfaced again I had my doubts but he recons no worrys if need be he will recess the valves a bit deeper for clearance. All bolts were still tight as hell as expected. Straight edge on the head shows no serious signs of warping but as the machinest said its only ever a guesstimate at best. Ile throw up a pic of the head after I cleaned it if you can zoom in on no4 you will see how the gasket walked out the back of the head and started taking the alloy with it. Even the gasket holes were oval
