    FYRLYT.........

I just purchased a third set plus two replacement lenses......

Re: lenses, FYRLYT did offer to replace the lenses at no cost but I had already ordered some. Both lenses on one car had number of cracks in them, noticed them after a roo strike but we recon they were there prior as the lights didn't move a bit so we doubt the roo touch them, we also doubt they are from rocks as the ute doesn't have a mark on it. I sent them off to FYRLYT but have had no feedback.

Re: new set, I see they come with spare lenses. FYRLYT have said their lenses are tough as nuts so I wonder why they pack spare lenses. I was also a little annoyed that the socket head cap screw would accept an 8mm allan key, 5/16 was a super tight fit....ended up grinding a smidgen of the sides of the alan key. Anybody had issue with the adjusting bolts that are supplied? Sent feedback off but no reply.

The boys at work were impressed on how quick it was to replace the lense.

Still reckon they are they are the ducks guts in lights.

I don't do facebook,......but did check it out tonight. Normal crap that's on social media and was over it pretty quick

I am annoyed of the lack of quality control on the socket head cap screws/bolts

The lights would not need to move to be cracked from a roo impact, The impact near them alone could crack. Have seen this happen on many cars to spot / driving lights, headlights, windscreens etc. Hit a roo a few weeks ago in the Statesman and though the roo did not hit the fog lights, the brackets broke, 1 reflector shattered and both globes shattered.
Same with rocks or debris thrown up, only takes 1 rock. There is often no other damage such as panel dents or stone chips. In the Defender alone I have had stars / cracks in windscreens, 3 smashed headlights and 2 spotlight covers smashed and 2 other starred without any other damage to the car.
Just some perspective on what can happen without additional damage.
