    Windscreen Chip Repair

OK, sometimes search just refuses to play ball so I have had to start this tread for my query...

Windscreen chip repair - Does anyone have any solid recommendations of reputable repairers on the Sunshine Coast? Is there anything I should be aware of when getting stone chips plugged up with goo? I am assuming the chip I have is repairable by the way.

Interesting how many search results you get for ECU chipping when trying to search for glass chips BTW.

Yes, but I'm just looking to see if anyone on here has a recommendation before cold calling from a Google search.

The diy one I used has a syringe and a pad that you stick to the glass. The instructions say to pull the syringe back and release a number of times (5 I think) then leave in the sun to cure. Dont do this, pull the syringe back multiple time, even 100 until there is no air in the repair. Next remove the syringe and the sticky pad and suck up as much of the liquid as you can and store in a dark cool place to use again next time you need it. Now put the car in the sun, job done.
