As far as I was aware all Track rods have a left hand thread on one side and a right hand thread on the other side, so that loosening the lock nuts, one could rotate the track rod to adjust the toe -in
Enter the Iveco Daily 4x4 , both tie rod ends have the same part number - What The ? inspection of my track rod reveals both TRE are indeed right hand thread , turning the track rod does nothing but unscrew one end and tighten the other - you have to remove the TRE from its taper in the swivel arm to adjust the Toe In,
However at least the drag link has one left and one right thread.
Im just curious as to why, Cararro the company that makes the Axle assemblies also make transmissions and diffs for John Deere, Case etc , so wondering if its a tractor thing ??
