Thread: Drive train issue D2

The issue , I believe, is with the manual gearbox (R380) out of a d2 td5. Following are some of the symptoms
? Sometimes when 1st or 2nd gear is selected and with clutch in and car rolling very slowly something happens to stop the car. As the clutch is let out a thump is felt through the car then the car moves off normally.
? When coming to a stop or just stopped 1st and 2nd gears are not selectable until the gear stick is moved to the right and back again.
? When stopped on an incline and reverse selected and with the clutch in, the car is allowed to roll backward. The car will stop like the hand brake has been applied. The seizure will be released by slowly letting out the clutch which causes a thump before reversing normally.
