    Has anyone got one? How do they compare to Maxidrive etc.

    My understanding is they don't come any better than Jacmac

    There both good. I run maxi's and the biggest issue is the fact that the disengagement of the locking dog takes a while to unload, especially if they have a few k's uinder there belt like my rear one has .

    Other than that, maxi's are great. Jacmac make great stuff, pity they are hard to deal with [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif[/img]

    what price differance is there between the two (jac Mac & Maxi), is it much or are they both roughly the same??

    they gave me a price of $1300 for there air locking unit. Not sure whether that includes stronger axles, for that price i wouldnt think so. A maxi drive is about $1850 including stronger axles.
    Which of JMac's locks are better, air or vacumn operated?

    JM with axles is same as maxi.

    air IMO is better but you need a compressor.
